Iowa corn growers are increasingly seeing the value of fungicide applications on corn. With nearing tasseling, it is important for growers to recognize which situations and corn products will benefit from a fungicide application. If weather predictions are conducive for the development of foliar leaf blights and the corn product is susceptible, fungicide applications are recommended.
