Ovation 2 is a second generation StandFast^® Alfalfa with the Fast Growth trait that brings more yield potential and a stronger disease package. This can help maximize total seasonal forage yield for aggressive alfalfa managers. The fast growth of Ovation 2 contributes to moisture conservation and better weed control by closing the canopy more quickly, which results in bigger second, third and fourth crops.  

Exceptional regrowth is up to 30% faster, which offers large acreage alfalfa growers and contract harvesters a faster start to the harvest season and the ability to maximize cuttings per year.  With bred-in tolerance to extra wheel traffic, Ovation 2 handles more frequent harvesting operations resulting in more milk, beef or tons per acre.
