Iowa Fall

September

October

Shannon Snyder, Sidney, Iowa

Fontanelle is excellent corn. It stands and yields well, so I am going to plant more next year!

Jerry Honold, Coon Rapids, Iowa

I really liked my 7N866. It stood perfectly and yielded very well with 15.5% moisture. We had a lot of wind. Many of my varieties went down but this number did not. It yielded well even in the poor spots. I’m very happy with 7N866 from Fontanelle.

Dan Kerkhoff, Manning, Iowa

Fontanelle 7T683 stood very well and harvested easily, plus only lodged 1-3%. Pioneer 34A20 lodged anywhere from 10-40% and wasn’t fun to combine.

Richard Deist, Audubon, Iowa

My 8T266 on bean ground was standing excellently and yielded 198.37 bushels/acre. The same number on corn-on-corn was the best standing corn in my plot and won the test plot with 180.94 bushels/acre!

Duane Burnett, Rudd, Iowa

The triple stack 6T672 really pays. We have had very dry weather and 6T672 still had great yield!!

Lyle Groth, Hornick, Iowa

I just harvested my 8665 NRR soybeans. They had a good stand and yielded over 60 bushels. They are some of the best soybeans I’ve ever grown.

Trevor Gress, Denison, Iowa

My Vistive soybeans were every bit as good as any other beans I had. I definitely increased my bottom line by planting Vistive – especially 27L44 which were my best soybean variety.

November

Bob Van Gundy, Jamaica, IA

I am a new customer of Fontanelle and had good yields this year. I like the smaller company feel of Fontanelle.

David Marshall, Carlisle, IA

I have been planting Pioneer for many years. I did a test plot for Fontanelle this year and my corn did very well. 7N269, 7N866, 8T266 and 8N543 yielded 223.5, 227.6, 224 and 237.6 respectively. I have known DSM Randy Cero a very long time and am considering planting Fontanelle next year.

Gary Kalvig, Ionia, IA

I have been working with Fontanelle for 25 years. I like the way I am treated and the quality of Fontanelle products. This year I planted 6T672 and it had great yield and standability. I plan to plant more triple stack corn because it gives me dependability plus yield.

Tom Brolsma is my DSM. He is very knowledgeable and he helps me in every way possible. He is very personable.

John Schmidt, Ocheyedan, IA

I have been working with Fontanelle for 20 years. I appreciate the friendly small company style of Fontanelle. They bring good, consistent products that perform equal to the other big name companies for me.

The Fontanelle triple stack really performs well on my hills. The extra roots help maintain yield on our dry soils.

Clarance Huygens, Hospers, IA

I have planted Fontanelle corn and beans for 20+ years. They have done well for me and handle all my acres. This year 6T226 was my best hybrid and stood great. It produced the most for me.

Kevin Banz, Gencua, IA

My Fontanelle corn had good standability and excellent drydown. I participated in the Sneak Preview process this year as a new customer and I like the program. The intern who stopped by this summer was helpful.

Allan Haworth, New Sharon, IA

I like Fontanelle products. That is why I have been with Fontanelle for 10-15 years. The Fontanelle triple stacks are very good yielders. Even though the products are more expensive, it pays off with extra yield. Randy Cero, my DSM, knows corn and he is a straight shooter.

Wayne Haworth, Searsboro, IA

I have been with Fontanelle for 15-16 years. They have been the best that I plant consistently. Fontanelle is as good as anything else and better than most. Fontanelle can provide great genetics that are targeted for a smaller area. The service is also good. Randy Cero has been my DSM for a few years and he is the most knowledgeable person I have around in a long time.

My 8K339 yielded 287 bushels this year and I sold it for $4.15! It was a pretty great year!
